Maize starch grains recovered from a human coprolite sample (CVR001) and a domestic dog coprolite (CVR004) from Operation VI, Unit 12, Layer 3, Feature 1 C5, a low status residence at the site. The human coprolite also contained maize phytoliths, as well as one maize kernel (Haas et al. 2013: Tables S1 and S4). It was indirectly dated in association with plant fibres recovered from the same excavation unit.
